Message | The Government has no control over the media and so is not in the business of operating propaganda. http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=43520 is a link to the current operating guidelines that HBC follow. It must also be pointed out that as HBC was introduced by a majority of Parties to provide unbiased reporting, something which cannot be guaranteed by Private media, that the public do support HBC and so did give authorisation. How would the CP guarantee that unbiased reporting is given to our citizens? How would the CP guarantee that programmes would not be produced to pander to the lowest common denominator in order to pander to ratings? These things are not a concern for HBC and as such they guarantee that high level, unbiased information is available to the public, something a private media outlet cannot guarantee as they have to follow the sponsors requirement for ratings in order to make money. |

Message | In fact, we do NOT want to guarantee unbiased reporting, that's the point. We want to give freedom on whatever biased information private media want to broadcast. Without t the presence of the State. |

Message | So instead of actually telling the people the truth we want to have them told about of lies, but that's okay as long as it's a private business. Pot, kettle, black anyone? |
