The largest farm on Somasi have started buying up and merging all the other farms on the island and is slowly creating a monopoly on local wheat. The farmers that resist sales are starting to get bankrupted as the prices are being dumped. Thousands of farmers now flocking to Liberstad searching for work and the next unemployment list are expected to be longer then usual. The ALSP member of in the local government stands powerless to stop this capitalist lunacy because of the Aldegarian policy of nonregulation when it comes to farms size. The ALSP therefor propose to allow the local governments of Aldegaria the power to regulate farm size. |
