Bill: Restoration of the True Monarchy

Details

Submitted by[?]: Independence Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2356

Description[?]:

The Restoration Act would bring the true royal family back to the throne in a constitutional monarchy.

King Kirzon I was overthrown in 2140 by the supporters of the elected empire. He has since passed on.

Crown Prince Kirzon (who would be seated as Kirzon II) is the heir to the throne.

We propose that the parties of the senate serve as an Electoral Commission to choose the heir to the throne, at which point the legitimate constitutional monarchy will be restored.

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer.
