Message | We are not surprised, but perhaps a little saddened, that the LITP are being pushed from government as petty revenge for disputing the PLPL's attempt to ruin our nation. We are forced to consider our options. |
Date | 22:17:27, February 07, 2007 CET | From | AM Populist Social Democrats | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2356 |
Message | The LITP asked for a new cabinet, and asked that the PLPL surrender control of the finance ministry. We did both. However, when a party that was a member of a cabinet calls for its dissolution, their members should not be surprised if they are not included in the newly formed cabinet. |

Message | We did not suggest that the Cabinet be dissolved. I can see that the PLPL would like to persist in the charade that this was anything other than toys-out-of-the-pram pettiness. We called for one Minister to step down, and a cabinet be refilled. As I am sure the PLPL are aware, there is no current procedure for re-filling a single position. As a result, we did not feel that we should propose a new Cabinet, penalising the PLPL in general for one ministerial failing. We allowed the PLPL opportunity to correct their mistake. The way in which the PLPL have treated the LITP, who have, in most areas, been supportive of their agenda, in saddening, and leaves the LITP in a difficult position. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
