Message | The Loving Big Brother sees a need for this bill. Whereas Aloria has traditionally had a fairly open policy concerning religions, there has been a strange new wave of organisations that call themselves 'religions' but are in fact companies. For instance, the 'Pastafarian' religion is a group which worships the giant God of Pasta by selling pasta at the local super market- without tax, merely because of their claim to be a religion. The last straw was when we heard of the 'Lovers of Rotary' religion involving the mass worship (and sale) of RX-8s. This is clearly ludicrous. After all, who would use an engine without a piston? |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
