Bill: Public Decency Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Pensioners' Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2357
Description[?]:
Young people today are exhibiting the most obscene behaviour in public today, and the law is doing absolutely nothing to stop it. It is not only the sight of what they are doing which is offensive; it is also the noises these wayward young people are emitting at the same time, which means that even if we close our eyes and try to walk away (which is quite dangerous if you are an elderly person) we cannot shield ourselves from the moral outrages which are going on. Last year all of the delegates at the Pensioners' Convention voted unanimously that something must be done to bring decency back to our public spaces.
