Bill: Industrial Pollution Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Pensioners' Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2357

Description[?]:

The lives of many residents are being made a misery by the irresponsible behaviour of companies who do nothing to limit the huge amount of industrial pollution they are choking Alorian towns and cities with. Elderly people are particularly vulnerable to factors like poor air quality, and demand that the law should be toughened up!

Random quote: "John Burroughs has stated that experimental study of animals in captivity is absolutely useless. Their character, their habits, their appetites undergo a complete transformation when torn from their soil in field and forest. With human nature caged in a narrow space, whipped daily into submission, how can we speak of its potentialities?" - Emma Goldman
