Bill: Pharmaceutical Drugs Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Pensioners' Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2358

Description[?]:

The government gives private pharmaceutical companies huge grants to develop new medicines, and yet once the medicines have been designed, approved and patented, these same companies are allowed to impose ridiculously high prices upon people who are sick. My party members say the drug companies should not be getting something for nothing! Patients deserve a better deal!
