Message | The local county parliaments know the local needs, resources and conditions best, and it's first and foremost a local matter. The central government must not interfere with it. |
Date | 18:29:03, February 10, 2007 CET | From | Union of Public Employees | To | Debating the Preschool Education Act of 2358 |
Message | But what about regions or areas going through hard times while the rest of the nation is enjoying pie in the sky? Surely they would need to be cared for? And can't there offices distributed across the country where everyone knows what the conditions are like? |
Date | 18:48:06, February 10, 2007 CET | From | Democratic Party of Dorvik | To | Debating the Preschool Education Act of 2358 |
Message | De-centralization doesn't mean that the central government couldn't subsidize counties and we trust on the media, education system & travelling agencies to pass through the knowledge about a country as a whole for Dorvish people. |
Date | 19:51:33, February 10, 2007 CET | From | Union of Public Employees | To | Debating the Preschool Education Act of 2358 |
Message | Subsidize? You mean mis-allocate! That policy could lead to areas supporting the Moderate Party to receive more subsidies then areas that actually need it. |
Date | 20:31:43, February 10, 2007 CET | From | Democratic Party of Dorvik | To | Debating the Preschool Education Act of 2358 |
Message | Obiviously the support would be given under the consent of the whole government and handled by politically independent civil servants. How the proposed policy is any better than the current one in this case? We have announced our stance about this issue, there's no need for further debate from our side. |
