Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 18:30:52, February 10, 2007 CET | From | Democratic Party of Dorvik | To | Debating the National Defence Act |
Message | We agree with this proposal. Competition creates more jobs, brings investments on the country and private sector is more effective in many areas than the state. Even though we would like to see whole arms industry under the control of the private sector, this is better than the current law. |
Date | 20:08:21, February 10, 2007 CET | From | Socialist Party of Dorvik | To | Debating the National Defence Act |
Message | The government knows more about what it needs than the corporations, who will make more equipment than needed, just for profit. |
Date | 21:18:36, February 10, 2007 CET | From | Democratic Party of Dorvik | To | Debating the National Defence Act |
Message | That much fate the LSPD has on military's own supply & equipment experts and civil servants in the ministries of finance & defence, how they cannot make special orders concerning equipment... |
Date | 21:40:09, February 10, 2007 CET | From | Union of Public Employees | To | Debating the National Defence Act |
Message | If they make more equipment then needed, then the government will still buy as much as needed. Any surplus arms would be sold to close allies, in accordance to Dorvik law. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
