Now that the nation has a chance for democracy and freedom, we the Liberal Democratic Party present a Cabinet sorting resolution to assemble together a Cabinet in the people's best interests.

MessageBefore we begin, as the holder of the debate, the ask that all parties understand that this is a compromise. The seats will be shuffled around continuously. If there is a certain seat a party desires, they might not be able to procure it. Therefore, we ask that everyone be reasonable and helpful to the cause, not detrimental to it.

Thank you.

MessageThe UDA needs Justice? Needs? This is certainly interesting. Why?

One thing we forgot to implement into the description at the top. We ask that each party gives a formal and supple reason for why they wish to have the seat and why they are the party for it.

MessageOur party would like to thank the LDP for beginning this process, it's one more step of tearing down the remains of the previous regime.

We'd also like to declare that we have no specific opposition to any appointments made. There are no parties here we would specifically oppose having on the executive branch. We support the cabinet being composed of all parties the people have voted in.

The following is the list of places we would desire, taking into account requests so far. It is in preferential order, from most preferred at the top.

Foreign Affairs we feel is important, so we would wish to apply for this position. Getting Jakania recognised and establishing relations should be our number one priority following our independance. If democracy is the first step of legitamising our government, then working with other nations is step two.

Is HoG selectable? As the largest party, I thought it went automatically, but I'm not brushed up on current consitutional law.

Science, Education and Health are important to us also, pretty much in that order. The first two we believe are paramount to improving the human condition, so we support their development in our nation in full. Health, naturally, is a big issue, though beyong supporting free healthcare for all, we have no specific plans were we to be given such a position.

Internal Affairs we'd appreciate, we feel this would work in tandem with a foreign affairs position, enabling each to act more effectively.

At the bottom of the list, would be environment. Again we feel it is very important, and would use such a position to stress this, but again we have no specific plans for such a position.

MessageWell JLS I do think you should have at least foreign affairs, you seem like a right fellow for the job. HoS we changd that making it to different officials, but I think you should get that to.

Defense should be mine because one of the top most importances to me is making sure our people are protected from outsiders who wish them harm.

Justice I want because I want to be able to help innocent people remain innocent, and those who are imprisoned to have better rights.

Trade and Industry our important to me as well, mainly so I can help economy(about the "need", accident as I reread it after I submmited it, I saw the mistake)

Thank you

MessageThe Liberal Democratic Party thanks all fellow parties for their contributions.

As the assembler of the Cabinet Proposal we will be appointing the seats and when all is completed the Resolution will be sent for a vote to see the legislature's willingness to agree.

We have read many requests for seats and have varied outcomes. The most clear, concise, and understandable request has been sent in by the J.L.S. We thank them for this That is why their traits of care put into the messages will be handled with the must affect.

We will make this noted: All parties that request seats must have a valid reason explaining their capability to handle the seats. We have read a few requests that merely request the seats and nothing else. It doesn't work that way. Also, there will only be power for relatively stationary parties, meaning do not expect power if your party has been in this nation for a few days at most and if you have just joined the game. And while we don't want to factor in number of seats, seeing how that should be a last resort, we do wish to consider it as at least something.

Let's make this clear:

~Only 3 seats per party: Please only request three that you will reasonably and patiently attempt to obtain for your party.

~Explain why you deserve power: Please, when your party requests seats, explain why. Do not attempt to justify yourself by saying you think you would do well. You think is not good enough.
For example: If you wish to obtain the Defense seat in the Cabinet don't just say I care about our troops.

Say this: The Liberal Democratic Party believes it is the most capable candidate for the seat of Defense in the Cabinet because we have a proven past of maintaining military fiscal responsibility. Also, the L.D.P. had the seat of Defense in the previous nation it was part of for 4 years before it left to come to the aid of Islamisbad. Under the L.D.P., the armed forces of Cildania were kept in a successful fiscal status and still maintained their excellence under careful funding for continuous advancements.
(Please do not copy this unless you are the L.D.P.)

That is what our party would accept. Please, make sure you consider all we have said.

Thank you.

MessageThe L.D.P. will now take the time to request the seats it wishes to procure.

1) Head of Government: For a long time the Liberal Democratic Party has wished to obtain the seat of HoG. We have managed important aspects of our previous government in a varied number of issues and stances. These honorable positions included Defense, Health & Social Services, Food & Agriculture, and Justice all for four years each and in the same sect of time. In this important executive seat we will strive to maintain and take care of the nation's important functions in its Cabinet.

2) Defense: The Liberal Democratic Party believes it is the most capable candidate for the seat of Defense in the Cabinet because we have a proven past of maintaining military fiscal responsibility.

3) Health & Social Services: We have had notable experience in this seat for 4 years previous to Islamisbad. As Health & Social Services Minister we would institute a new health plan that would ensure health care for all. At the same time we will respect all private clientel who wish to obtain privatized plans. Also, as a union party, we ensure the health and fair care each and every citizen deserves in the work field. We believe we are suitable for this position.

And, since there are 13 seats in the Cabinet, one being the head of them all, we would ask if HoG is given to us that we be allotted another seat. If this is acheivable, then we would desire Finance.

Possibly:
4) Finance: The Liberal Democratic Party believes it is capable for this seat. We have a history of concern for fiscal safety, most known for a debate on a potential deficit in our previous nation Cildania. We have also been the party introducing fiscal related legislation to the legislative body. We have introduced the Budget Reformation bill which has plans to tax corporations fairly and to implement a Luxury Tax that is minimal and affordable. As Finance Minister, we would be willing to be the first to pull this nation out of a heavy deficit to a refreshing surplus.

Thank you all.

MessageOk then well I shall do that, with Justice I had power in those for, the whole time I was there, about 6 years. Criminal affairs are something I handle fine, in Gishoto I worked constantly on reforming the system.

With Defense, I can not think of anything to counter or be better than what the LDP, so I shall submmit, and better yet endorse them with that

MessageAs one of the head of government's constitional duties is to direct "general government policy", we feel that we should not be setting the precident that this be held by the smallest party, or the most cabinet positions being held by the smallest party; that seems to run counter to democratic ideals. We would urge the LDP to reconsider this appointment.

MessageSo be it. If the J.L.S. would oppose this bill on that ruling, then they may assemble the Cabinet themselves. After we worked for a new Cabinet and it has been shot down by this ruling, we invite the opposition to construct their own Cabinet for presentation to the Supreme Council. Best of luck.
