Bill: Education Testing Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Orange Liberty Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2360

Description[?]:

Standardized testing is not a sufficient method of determining the value to society of students. These tests provide no means of testing higher cognitive skills and on-the-spot creative thinking and problem-solving. Standardized tests do have value, but need to be weighed along with practical and creative tests to give a better idea of a students' intelligence and social function.

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer.
