Message | Capitalism isn't that bad. Every system has it faults, you see what happened in Russia when the communists planned the economy. The Keynesian party believes in free market but the gouvernement has to correct the market imperfection. |

Message | Yes, in Russia everyone had free education, free healthcare and a roof over their heads. They lifted a backward nation out of feudalism and made it the second biggest power on the planet. Since the fall of the planned economy life expectancy has fallen from 76 to 54, crime and prostitution have skyrocketed as has homelessness. |

Message | Our gripe with Russia was not its planned economy but its undemocratic nature. As Trotsky put it, "The planned economy needs democracy like the human body needs oxygen." Read "The Revolution Betrayed" by Trotsky for a more expansive treatise on Stalinist Russia. |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
Random quote: "I worked at a factory owned by Germans, at coal pits owned by Frenchmen, and at a chemical plant owned by Belgians. There I discovered something about capitalists. They are all alike, whatever the nationality. All they wanted from me was the most work for the least money that kept me alive. So I became a communist." - Nikita Khrushchev |
