Message | We cannot vote yes on this bill due to articles 3, 5, 6, and 8. Passage of article 3 would prevent the govenment from prosecuting porn offenders or sexual solicitors. This would result in a large increase in the amount of child kidnappings and rape incidents. In regards to article 5, we don't know why the S.L.P. would desire to view nude people in public. However, this party, along with most of the Jakanian populus, do not wish for this. This statement applies to article 6 as well. Again, we cannot comprehend why the S.L.P. would want to view sexually obscene acts in public. Finally, if I were the parent of a small child, I would not want them viewing sexually explict material on television. The current law works and protects child innocence. |
