Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic National Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2363

Description[?]:

We propose a motion of no confidence in Mr P Yerbuts, Likatonian Foreign Minister for the following reasons:

1/ Signing a policy release on behalf of the nation without consulting the cabinet

2/ Signing a press release on behalf of the nation while assuming a position he is about to be removed from in a new cabinet proposal without due consultations and due respect to the LFFR, CLP, AMRLP and RWL who are shortly to be in government.

3/ For brining bias to parliament proposals and diplomatic processes already undergoing.

4/For not accepting the authority and integrity of the Convocation of Likatonia.

MessageThe ConLibs are clearly struggling with concepts such as democracy, procedure, and debate, and also appear to be having trouble forming coherent sentences.

To simplify:
1. We consulted the Cabinet, in part. If the ConLibs were cabinet members, they would possibly also have been consulted. As it was, the minister took actions open to him by his position.
2. We do not consult those who ignore the democratic process. We do not expect the next cabinet, whenever elected, to consult previous or potential future members when performing their duties, unless they so choose.
3. The ConLibs bring not only bias, but bile, and indeed juvenile idiocy to every debate they enter.
4. This is a nonsense point, from a nonsense party.

The Conservative Liberals are not only not fit for government, they are not fit for any office above village idiot (and we have our doubts they could do that job well).

If this Bill passes, however, we will respect it.

MessageWe will not respond to the LITP's attempt at cheap laughter.

Let's hope this bill pases and they are removed from the position they are incapable and too irresponsible to hold.

I'm sure in the next election, the people will demote the LITP to the position of Convocation Clown.

You kind of did, there. You see? What you did? In responding?

If the Likaton People ask us to perform such an office as Convocation Clown, we will execute or duties with the same style and panache we bring to government. Whatever the public ask of us, we will do, such is our loyalty is to this great nation.

MessageWe wish to address this to the honourable representatives of the LITP.

"The ConLibs are clearly struggling with concepts such as democracy, procedure, and debate, and also appear to be having trouble forming coherent sentences.

To simplify:
1. We consulted the Cabinet, in part. If the ConLibs were cabinet members, they would possibly also have been consulted. As it was, the minister took actions open to him by his position."

A wonderful precedent we will be happy to make use of when we expunge democracy in Likatonia. Many thanks for the idea.

"2. We do not consult those who ignore the democratic process. We do not expect the next cabinet, whenever elected, to consult previous or potential future members when performing their duties, unless they so choose."

The LFFR admitittedly has a limited understanding of democracy, however we thought the it was a process of consultation with all people, not just those who are abitraririly chosen on the basis of political beliefs.

"3. The ConLibs bring not only bias, but bile, and indeed juvenile idiocy to every debate they enter. "

Another attempt by a so-called democratic party to stifle democratice debate? For shame.

"4. This is a nonsense point, from a nonsense party."

Again, are inconvenient arguments by a party that has a sizeable backing is unerving for you?

"The Conservative Liberals are not only not fit for government, they are not fit for any office above village idiot (and we have our doubts they could do that job well)."

These comments we will not address out of respect for the decorum of the Convocation.

"If this Bill passes, however, we will respect it."

Wonders will never cease.
