Message | We are torn on this legislation. We would like to see police and military entirely separate, with no overlap - but we are also aware of the tensions in our region, and the possible need for the capacity for a 'strong response' on the streets of Likatonia. At this point, then - while we do have strong reservations - we must support the status quo. |

Message | We considered proposing a bill for a completely separate civilian police force and military, however, at times, it may be and will be necessary to provide more force to protect the people, and therefore some sort of legal justification for military involvement in civilian police matters is necessary; but only in such extreme incidents. And so we proposed this new bill, which we believe to be a perfect middle ground for this issue. |

Message | We won't support. OOC: We see in many countries in Europe have a second police force, which is a military polcie force under the control of the Department of Defence rather than justice. The Gendarmes in France and the Guardia Civil in Spain are examples of this. IC: It is important for the security and defence of our people that there is some sort of military presence to back up the police. |
