| Because torture leads to false declarations, just in order to get rid of the pain, they lead to false convictions. In a good working juridical system we have to reduce errors to a minimum. Risks are too high when making use of torture. We propose: - Torture will not be allowed as a way to gather evidence. - Evidence gathered by putting pressure in any way, is worthless in trials. |
