The government's policy regarding foreign investments.
Old value:: Foreign investors are not allowed to invest in national companies.
Current: Foreign investors may freely invest in national companies.
Proposed: Foreign investors may invest in national companies, but may not get a majority share.

Old value:: There is a free public education system alongside private schools.
Current: There is a free public education system and a small number of private schools, which are heavily regulated to ensure they teach adequate skills and information.

Message | We can readily support the first and third articles. We strongly object to allowing foreign nationals to hold shares in nationalised industries - especially at this time - but we shall swallow our distaste, to show support for the otherwise excellent initiatives. |
