MessageOur party would support a latin motto, even accepting power to the people if it was written in latin.

Message"Imperium Populus"

the problem with "power" is that there are a lot of different words for it, depending on what type of power. I chose the most political one I could find.

some other suggestions:
non ducor duco - "I am not led, I lead"
ad Lodamun aeternam - "to Lodamun eternal"
esse quam videri - "to be, rather than to seem"
audemus jura nostra defendere - "we dare to defend our rights"
coniunctis viribus - "with connected strength" or "with united powers" -- esp. good for the Five Nations, I think
imperium sine fine - "empire without end"
ense petit placidam sub libertate quietem - "by the sword she seeks gentle peace under liberty"
ex astris scientia - "from the stars, knowledge"
memores acti prudentes futuri - "mindful of what has been done, aware of what will be"
fac fortia et patere - "do brave deeds and endure"
multis e gentibus vires - "from many peoples, strength"
provehito in altum - "launch forward into the deep"

Messageactually, "regnat populus" seems a little more appropriate to the meaning of "power to the people" - it means "the people rule", which I think is the type of "power" we're trying to get at.

MessageLots of motto's are in latin though, and very few of those countries actually speak latin.
