Bill: Revised Agriculture Privatization Act of 2365

Details

Submitted by[?]: Moderate Republican Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2366

Description[?]:

Currently, all farms are state-owned, a practice that is communist and unacceptable. This proposal provides low-income farmers with some sort of subsidary assistance as a safety net.

This bill also regulates the use of pesticides on Jakania's farms. This prevents harmful chemicals and pollutants from being released into the nation's environment.

Message(well actually I know why the SLP voted no, but not the JCP, seeing as how the never say anything, and the only bills they propose are trying to get our WMD's back)

MessageYeah, we forgot. Our bad. Then we opened up this bill to explain. But yeah, we think our position on this sort of issue is fairly clear by now. We don't like subsidies, we don't like regulations, we don't like taxes. We feel the economy will work better without our meddling, well-intentioned or no. We can, of course, understand the opposition's position, and it boils down to a matter of opinion, as so many things in the psuedo-science of economics does. I need an icon that denotes that something is good-natured ribbing as opposed to, you know, invective. Oh, yeah, there is one, and it is :p

MessageTo the S.L.P: If you don't like taxes, you don't like govenment. And, if you dislike govenment, you have no business playing this game.
