MessageDoes the Alliance find this more agreeable?

We apologize for not consulting you earlier, it was a little hasty on our part.

MessageWe would like to point out that your constant adjustments to government expenditure have harmed our economy. This is clearly seen by the 2bn HCR drop in income via the luxury goods tax, not to mention the 50bn HCR drop consumption.
Interesting to note that these great ideas to save people money have actually led to less money being spent and a shriking of the economy as a whole.

MessageFortunately, our party has been premature, our budget shortfall was short-lived, and we are now back in a surplus situation. We will use the money saved from this proposal to finance further tax cuts, and put more money into the pockets of Hobrazians. And that is what our Party will continue to do throughout our term.

We would like to point out that those decreases are the result of YOUR party's proposals in the previous budget before ours was implemented. It is entirely unfair to attribute your own failings to our party.

Nice try, but not true. After the budget implemented by THIS Party there had been no decreases in GDP and consumption had remained consistent. It was after further meddling directly after that effected the economy further and so decreased the confidence of the people as to how to spend their money that there was a negative effect on the economy.

MessageOOC - WSS!P, I'm quite sure you are aware of the almost non-existant economics mechanisms, aren't you.

MessageOOC - Of course, but where would be the interest in playing and accepting a non-existant mechanism? Also, if you remember many many (game) years ago, LPU and I had a bit of fun with some of the tax bands just to see if they made any difference. They do, but it's so milliscule that they almost might not as well bother.

Yet again, you mis characterize our economic situation. The effects of your budget do not necessarily have to take immediate effect. As evidenced by our most recent budget proposal, the immediate effect was somewhat negative, but since have proved to be positive as our economy continues to grow and the gov't continues to gain more and more revenue.

MessageYes, thanks to the ever growing Hobrazian population. Aren't you lukcy it isn't in decline.
We would still point out that sales tax revenues still haven't reached their pre-Liberal budget amount proving that the people still don't have the confidence in the economy they once had.

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current.
