Description[?]:

The Temporary Powers Act is intended to implement certain temporary procedures to limit any potential loss of life or property in the event of a major non-conventional attack. Upon the passing of this bill, its provisions will last three years, or until a declaration of peace and non-aggression is signed with any foreign party or organisation giving cause to the passage of this bill. It may be renewed at any time by majority council vote.

This bill shall allow:

1) State provision of gas masks and filters to our citizens, and the encouragement of their production.

2) The provision and building of shelters, through a standing order to our local governments who hold the power to construct them.

3) State-aided voluntary evacuation from the major cities of all people not critical to their immediate running. This includes minors and non-working citizens, as well as employees of certain non-crucial industries and services, as decided by an appointed government commitee.

4) Encouragement of the production of storable, canned and tinned food and water, as well as rationing of such products to ensure as wide a distribution as possible.

Random fact: There are two countries based on Egypt in the game. Cobura is based on modern Egypt with a retro twist, while Hawu Mumenhes is based on Ancient Egypt with a modernist twist.

Random quote: As for rape, of course, that is a direct consequence of the capitalist system of oppression. Capitalism relies on fuelling division and resentment to sustain itself, and so it sets men against women, race against race and so on. Men rape women because they are being oppressed by capitalism, so they take it out on women. Under Communism, there will be no rape, because there will be a full and natural harmony and equality between the genders. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
