| The Minister of Science, Technology, and Agriculture is asking the Parliment for permission to create a subdivision within that Ministry, to seperate Science and Technology from Agriculture. The new ministry, the Ministry of Agriculture, would be under the control of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Agriculture, and the Minister of the new Vice Ministry would be the effective second in command in the Ministry of ST&A. |

We also believe in the idea of 'core ministries', of which economic affairs should indeed be a very powerful one. This is, however, just a policy of preference and not something we intend to implement any time soon. |
