Message | Sorry about my last bills mixup, I am new at this... Anyway this current bill is in the best interests of the Nation. It is not inforced patrotism, it is the fostering of identity and community. |
Date | not recorded | From | Progressive Evolution Party | To | Debating the The National Anthem and State Loyalty Act |
Message | It is the fostering of nationalism of the sort that would see the rise of dictators and the political apathy or ignorance to note if and when tyranny has taken the reigns of this country. The PEP will not be party to such a measure. |

Message | How would this lead to tyranny? We are not talking about propoganda. I'm suggesting a ritual of symbolism to bring about feelings of idenity and belonging... |

Message | I've always found this practice ridiculous in real life, I'm certainly not supporting it here. Singing it once ayear in school was enough for me. |
Date | not recorded | From | New Democratic Party | To | Debating the The National Anthem and State Loyalty Act |
Message | Copied over - We are not particularly opposed to this, although we would oppose forced participation. Government-mandated patriotism is the first step to fascism and we don't want that. Love for one's country should come from one's heart and not because one is forced to. We thus vote no. |
