1. Any person not aiding another person in a situation in which they are likely to die, or fact permanent serious injury is guilty of a felony. 2. The penalty for the aforementioned felony shall be 160 hours of community service, or a fine of $10,000. 3. An individual may avoid prosecution under the Good Samaritan Act, if it can be shown that aiding their fellow citizen would have resulted in serious injury to themselves, or to others present. |
