Whereas, We feel that the combination of backing the police up with the military and having police carrying weapons beyond standard firearms, when added together, is overkill, and

Whereas, We believe that backing the police up with the military is a settled law that will remain on the books for a while,

We hereby propose that police shall carry only standard firearms, as they can turn to the military in situations in which further firepower is necessary.

We additionally propose that, it seeming like a police state to us that people must donate organs whether they wish to or not, that we presume consent from those who do not file otherwise, but that we do not mandate such donation.

However, we propose that there be a fee for filing a refusal to donate organs, of 200 LIK or 1% of the highest income the filer has had in any of the previous five years, whichever is higher, to somewhat discourage people from so filing.
