MessageOOC: How was this defeated? All parties in it voted yes and those parties comprised a majority of the Convocation.

MessageAMR: "The curious part is that no such complaints were made by either party when the roles were reversed, and the Axis Mundi parties were being excluded - regardless of the fact that the largest single party in Likatonia is an Axis Mundi party, or that the Emisarry is currently an Axis Mundi appointee."

The Emissary, largest party and second largest party are non-AM parties and they are excluded from this cabinet proposal. Typical of the AMR to eat their own words.

MessageThe Emissary voted against. That's one of the problems with having the Head of State and Head of Government unified - it means the Head of State party can carry a veto in Cabinet deliberations, even when they are not involved in the 'selective' portion of the Cabinet. For example - it is possible for the fifth biggest of eight parties to be elected to the Emissary seat - while not even being in the top half of parties. It is possible for the the Emissary (as in this case) to simply not be a realistic party to include ina cabinet - but they still have the veto.

Just one of the many reasons the Sturm und Drang Partei consistently calls for separation of the two offices.

MessageIn response to the ConLibs:

1) The AMR does not exist, and hasn't for some time.

2) The words of the former cabinet of the AMR, have no real relevence to the current leadership of the Sturm und Drang Partei.

3) How is the 'AMR eating their own words'? Surely the point here is - when the tables are reversed, the ConLibs find the situation unfair... just as certain AM parties did previously?

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election.
