MessageThe TCP is utterly appalled by this abhorrent bill.
This is the most ludicrous idea for a bill in the history of this nation.
You cannot force businesses to hire certain minorities - they will hire whoever they want, whoever they think will do the best job, REGARDLESS of what colour, REGARDLESS of their gender! These factors should not be relevant at ALL in the hiring process for businesses! You cannot simply say to a business "hire 40 black people by the end of the month or you'll probably look like a racist". Race and gender should have absolutely no relevance to the hiring process! If one business hires 40 white people and one black person, it doesn't mean he's a racist! If you go by the mentality of deliberately hiring women and different racial types, just for the sake of some rediculous idea like 'equality' or 'political correctness', as aposed to hiring people based on their SKILL and their ABILITY to do the job correctly, you're business will implode!
If the SCA is aiming to gradually bring our economy down from the inside, this bill is a good way to start!
This bill is an APPALLING piece of tripe! The TCP is convinced that the SCA has absolutely no idea how business works and that they are committed only to a rediculous, half-baked ideology, based around the pie-in-the-sky ideals of 'political correctness' and 'social equality'.

MessageQuoting our beloved TCP: "Race and gender should have absolutely no relevance to the hiring process!"

Is this really the case nowadays? We do not need to have a PhD to agree that this is not the case. This bill is perhaps the pinnacle of our difference - the TCP preaches what world they think they live in, while we are actually trying to change it to the better.

How often did it happen that somebody who was capable, who was skillful enough to work in some company, did not get the job he wanted just because he is not a he, but a she, and of different origin? Those cases must cease. We want to create an environment of EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES, which is quite something different of EQUALITY. In simpler words, this bill protects those of different origin from discriminatory hiring policies.

We are not surprised with the TCP's reaction, perhaps bigger competition on the job market will mean that certain members of the said market will have to leave their place to people of different origins. Now won't that be a disgrace?

Now although the SCA may not have enough knowledge about market economy, how would you know, such policies are standard practices in most of the economies throughout the world.

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.

Random quote: "The great economic, social and political scientist, Karlstein Metz, accurately predicted over 2,500 years ago that capitalism is doomed to destruction by its inherent weaknesses and contradictions, and must inevitably be replaced by a communist form of social, political and economic organisation." - Friedrich Pfeiffer, former Dorvish politician
