Nuclear power plants, once built, have the lowest cost per kilowatt hour, and don't pollute. Furthermore, allowing local governments to make the decision to build plants will reduce our reliance on oil imports, strengthening our national autonomy. Nuclear waste can be stored at a lower cost to our environment and our pocketbooks than fossil fuels. |
