MessageWe decided to put aside our problems with the CJP and enter in this coalition for the interests of our great nation.
I also would like to say that the good thing in this proposal is that it is formed by moral parties (6 moral parties), and the opposition is also formed by a moral party (Imperials), which could be beneficial to the political life in the country

MessageOOC: Time to set some things straight. We presume the CDP are miffed at us because we abstained in their cabinet proposal of some time back. Believe it or not, I live in the real world where I have responsibilities and am busy. I did not vote on that proposal, probably because it occurred at a time when I was too busy to access the internet. The CDP claim in their proposal thread that I had "declared war on them" was preposterous. I have read the proposal and I would have gladly voted for it, had I been able to. So remove the chip from your shoulder.

ICC: While always eager to form fruitful coalitions that will bring progress to the nation, and we could theoretically support this, the CJP must logically ask why we are being given two portfolios, while parties with far less democratic mandate than us are receiving an equal or even greater number of portfolios. Hopefully our Tory friends will oblige us with an explanation.

MessageAs far as we can see, everyone has an equal number of positions in this cabinet- it was done for balance and was supposed to ensure greater encouragement to vote in favour. It seems to have failed. Plus ca change, plus ce la meme chose...

MessageEqual? CJP - 2 portfolios. CDP - 3. While we didn't have a problem with the CDP or any party having 3 portfolios, the fact that we have many more parliamentary seats than the CDP meant that the proposal was unbalanced.
