Message | But the state owning all the industry is not right anyway, maybe if it was worded in to be "owned by the workforce" then I might be more interested, Besides, are we going to ban strikes and unions because they would be opposing the bossses of the industry, i.e the Government/State? |

Message | Making up my mind.... The problem with this is that macro-economics on this scale is incredibly difficult to control. Also basic commodities are better produced by small traders and artisans. If you can persuade me otherwise I might support this but.... |

Message | state-ownership does not mean economic centralization, it rather means the state can use the rest-capita for purposes such as the free healthcare we offer. it is better for our people and economy in that sence. Off course the companies can still be controlled by the workers by electing they're manager or appointing a manager by the government. Not all state-ownership is like Stalin's state-ownership, you still have Trotsky, Bukharin and Lenin's ways. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
