MessageThe state owning industries didn't work in Russia then, and it doesn't work in places like North Korea and Cuba now. So, what's the odds it'll actually work here? The state, yes, can more effectively do things like build roads and conduct the courts, but it cannot be expected to develop tennis shoes and automobiles. And, quite frankly, why should the citizens of this nation subsidize a product that will most likely be inferior in quality and be sold right back to them. This is not only double-dipping the pocketbook of the consumer, but squandering the tax-dollars of our constituents! No to state-owned industries!

MessageYes, anti-corporate welfare/subsidies. We shouldn't pay to prop-up private enterprise.
