Bill: Child labour restrictions

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialanarchist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2377

Description[?]:

A willing minor can be allowed to work.
He can not, however, be allowed to sell his health, mental as well as physical, before adulthood. Therefore we propose to put a limit on the amount of work a minor is allowed to do and ban them from certain lines of work completly which would pose a serious threat to their health (like work in a firework manufacturing plant or prostitution).

MessageWe are seeking a complete ban on child labour. But, since we have treid twice to pass this law, and failed, wewill grudingly support this bill. It is better than nothing, but alas, also doomed to fail.

MessageNo we want to see the state take care of it's chidlren through childrens grants, allowing them to go to school, and break this cycle of poverty the MLF wants them to be caught up in. It is indeed the MLF who wants to make slaves of our children.

Random fact: Players are expected to behave in a courteous, co-operative manner and make a reasonable effort to act with the consent of all players involved, even where the rules do not make consent strictly necessary. In particular, players have a responsibility to take reasonable care that other players are not misinformed either about the role-play or the Game Rules.
