Bill: Arm Sales Loosening Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Party of Moderates
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2377
Description[?]:
The Party of Moderates feels that the current policy towards arms sales is too restrictive and redundant. We feel it is wise to change the policy so that arms sales are looked on a case-by-case basis. It will likely be a very minor change from the current policy. After all, even in this policy, we can still choose to only sell arms to close allies. |

Message | Seems fair enough. |
Date | 09:32:22, March 20, 2007 CET | From | Social Democrats | To | Debating the Arm Sales Loosening Act |
Message | We can agree, although the regulation must remain a top priority and we wish to establish a cap on international arms sales. |
Date | 15:52:30, March 20, 2007 CET | From | Aldegar Freedom Party | To | Debating the Arm Sales Loosening Act |
Message | The TCP can agree to this - the arms manufacturing industry is a competitor in the market, afterall, and should not be restricted any more than any other market competitor. |
Date | 00:24:02, March 21, 2007 CET | From | Party of Moderates | To | Debating the Arm Sales Loosening Act |
Message | Obviously, the SD's concerns are met with the fact that the government has to approve each and every arms sale. Under this, arms regulation is the highest possible without clear restriction. |
Date | 00:24:42, March 21, 2007 CET | From | Party of Moderates | To | Debating the Arm Sales Loosening Act |
Message | Since this seems to have strong enough support, we shall motion for a vote. |
