Whereas the state has no business in subsidizing or promoting religion in a democratic society: Article 1: Under national law, compulsory prayer/worship in state-run, public schools is forever prohibited; Article 2: Under national law, the teaching or promotion of religious doctrine during a normal school day is forever prohibited; Article 3: Under national law, state funds for religious-based schools/religious-based institutions in ALL forms is forever prohibited; Article 4: Under national law, the state shall never promote or show preference to any religious/spiritual denomination or faith; Article 5: Under national law, the state will not pay, in any form whatsoever, for the private or public training of religious ministers, imans, rabbis, reverends, yogis, et al; Article 6: Under national law, the state will never pay for any individual's religious/spiritual schooling, including vouchers for private religious schools; Article 7: Under national law, posting of all religious/faith-based doctrines, texts, prayers, images, etc. in ALL public buildings is forever prohibited; Article 8: Again, this bill will take place immediately upon passage. |
