Bill: Cabinet Proposal II of January 2085

Details

Submitted by[?]: Tuesday Is Coming

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2085

Description[?]:

Even without the Inclusive Consensus Act to force inclusion of multiple views, we hope that a more inclusive cabinet can be agreed upon.

We propose that the head of government and the head of state be from different camps, to give voice to both sides...

MessageI would like to note that the ASP was originally included but declined his seats.

All parties included either gain seats or maintain the same amount as in the present cabinet.

Is there any more input?

MessageObject. We would prefer to retain the Foreign affairs portfolio, and believe the current Cabinet to be sufficient.

MessageAnyone can propose a cabinet they would find more agreeable.
But the ministry of justice deserves to be filled.

MessageWe will not support a cabinet motion that does not have the support of the parties nominated for cabinet positions.

Thus we revert to the formal opposition vote.
