MessageAlthough I agree with a gradient tax rate, paying nearly 60% of your wages, no matter how much you earn, or how rich you are, is disgusting. The way my Party sees it is that this form of taxation is a PUNISHMENT for the hard workers. Most people, not all, earn over 60,000 HCR, because they work for it! Taking it back of them is a PUNISHMENT for WORKING HARD! The Liberal Party does not have the vision to see into the future, but I hope the rest of you can. If this taxation law is brought into effect, it will destroy the economy because no one will want to attend university, work hard, only to get nearly 60% of what they earn, or what they earn over 60,000 HCR, to be took of them. This will result in people not aiming for the high earning jobs, thus resulting in labour shortage!
Further more, this is nothing but a malicious attack on high earners! I have seen the Liberal Party's budget plans and they involve budget CUTS. Could the Liberal Party please explain why their economic plans consist of Tax Raises and Budget Cuts?

MessageWhilst I don't find myself doing this often, I must come out in defence of the Liberal Party.
Though we do not support the above changes in taxation due to a difference of opinion about government spending, we feel we must point out that the above bill does not, in any way, increase taxation to any part of the Hobrazian populace and does, actually, reduce the amount of taxation from all tax bands.
We however cannot support as we are intending to bring forward a new spending proposal to modernise the Hobrazian transport network and so require the current levels to be maintained for the next decade (approx).

MessageWe have not once, in the history of our party brought forward, or supported the raising of taxation. It was our party that brought forward the largest cuts in expenditure to accommodate income and corporate taxation reductions (at one point we had no corporate taxation in fact). Before our arrival spending was closing on 700 billion HCR.
