Solentia has applied to join the MCTO, and we are concerned they wish to exploit the organisation. Without a show of faith, we do not believe we can trust them as part of the alliance.

To this end, Aeran Dir, our new Foreign Affairs minister, wishes to enact Article 9 of the treaty, and withdraw from Solentia the rights of membership in the MCTO. This will require a 2/3 vote of all treaty members in favour of revoking Solentia's rights of membership. In other words, both Jakania and Cobura must agree to this measure.

The foreign minister intends to call an international conference on the matter, cast a vote in favour of Solentia's withdrawel, and lobby Cobura for their support.

This resolution may be used by parties to express opinions on the matter and show any backing or opposition to the Foreign Minister's intended course of action.

The conference has been called as an emergency session of the MCTO council, and Jakania's vote has been cast. We will issue invitations to Cobura, Wantun, and any input from the other parties is welcome there.

Message*you spelled Wantuni wrong(I'm probably not one to talk but I felt the need to put that)

But I support all the way, Solentia cannot be trusted

I am also confused as to why they in Solentia have the "non-recognition of the Solentian Regime" treaty ratified, there up to something
(btw the forum article thing is very well written, thought'd I say that)

Message(( Thankyou! I tried to put some effort into it so it'd look nice ))

We are not sure why Solentia joined the non-recognition treaty - maybe to discredit it, or mock it. Maybe that's what they intend to do by joining the MCTO - but we're more concerned that they wish to use us as a shield against any nations that would attack them in retribution. And we certainly don't want to get pulled into a war defending Solentia from the nations they have wronged - at the very least that would collapse the alliance.

MessageFrom across the city of Wakanda, Aeran Dir sends word to the Supreme Council chambers,

"The Solentians diplomats have responded to our statements. I say that I do not trust them - but a pan-majatran peace is desirable. Now may not be the time for idealism, however. An aid has suggested we respond to their willginess to cooperate with negotiations - an attempt to limit their foreign intervention, in return for their place in the MCTO. I think such actions may be futile, but I will await word from the council's party representatives before I make my response.

How does the council wish to treat this development?"

MessagePerhaps we should reconsider our rulings on this issue. However, that is up to Foreign Minister Aeran Dir and we fully support what he does and have confidence in his work.
