Message | We cannot grant to one skillful reactionary to bring back behind the country. The rights acquisit are not more in argument. A society with more rights is better, always. We will vote against. |

Message | The TCP can support this bill. |
Date | 13:05:04, March 28, 2007 CET | From | Communist Party of Aldegar | To | Debating the Reproductive Reponsibility Act |
Message | We are fully pro-choice when it comes to abortion. A foetus is simply a parasite that feeds on the mother - if she wishes to remove that parasite, it should be her choice. It only becomes a baby when it is born - do you call an egg a chicken? |

Message | And the second article contradicts the first so much I have to assume you're joking. I mean, you don't want abortions yet you are against free contraceptives? How would you then go about ensuring the welfare of the thousands of low-income women with children? |

Message | We're just going to move this to a vote right now, to skip further debate. Considering this particular issue, debate isn't going to get us anywhere. |

Message | And, we will note, we'd be supportive of government run orphanages, where young mothers can give up their children. The State can then provide for the education and well being of the children until suitable parents can be found to adopt. Or, if need be, until the children reach adulthood. |

Message | In this matter it would be vise to seperate the two matters as a few of the parties, ALSP not included, might have supported one of the articles but not the other. |
Date | 22:00:46, March 28, 2007 CET | From | Party of Moderates | To | Debating the Reproductive Reponsibility Act |
Message | We can't support. For starters, there is nothing wrong with contraceptives. We don't see much wrong with abortion, either. However, we are willing to compromise on abortion, but compromise means that everyone gives something up. We can't support unless the policy towards abortions are less restrictive, and the policy reform over contraceptives is taken back. |

Message | Quote: "A foetus is simply a parasite that feeds on a mother"... The TCP is shocked and frankly APPALLED with this disgraceful comment of evil and idiocy made by the MP! It sickens every member of the TCP to their very CORE that a party who holds a considerable amount of seats in this nation's cabinet could think of an unborn child this way, let alone SPEAK of it this way! This behaviour is ABHORRENT, and clearly shows the evil, malicious intentions of the MP! This is an utter disgrace and an outrage to the entire human race! |
Date | 12:52:52, March 29, 2007 CET | From | Communist Party of Aldegar | To | Debating the Reproductive Reponsibility Act |
Message | I see the TCP are a very literal-minded party. |
Date | 17:47:24, March 29, 2007 CET | From | Aldegar Freedom Party | To | Debating the Reproductive Reponsibility Act |
Message | The TCP do not call an egg a chicken - but we do call the living, breathing, cultivating baby chicken within the egg's shell, who is feeding on the nutrients of the egg's yolk, a chicken. That chicken is just as much a chicken as when it is hatched - the only difference is the fact that one minute the chicken is inside the shell, the next it is not. And yes, the TCP chooses to take the MP's 'parasite' comment literally. |
Date | 19:18:52, March 29, 2007 CET | From | Communist Party of Aldegar | To | Debating the Reproductive Reponsibility Act |
Message | We will admit that at some point in the pregnancy, the feotus does become a child, but this does not occur until the third trimester. Therefore, we support abortion in the first and second trimesters. |
