Message | Either an all public system, or a private system with a GOOD insurance system. In a mixture, the two will undermine each other. |

Message | Mollusc, how would they undermine? It would probably increase performance of the private clinics because, they have to fight the public clinics for business. |

Message | For me though, it comes down to what people want- if someone wants to go private, why should we stop them? It's only a small amount of private clinics, I'm not privatising everything with this suggestion. |

Message | It also promotes inequality in a area which should be fair to everyone. Plus, the presence of private clinics will encourage the best doctors not to work in the public system, meaning those who can't afford to go private will recieve poorer treatment. Ultimately, for an issue like this, it must be one or the other. |
