Bill: IP Public Standards Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Imperialist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2382
Description[?]:
This act seeks to ensure that public employees, as representatives of the government, present an impartial, neutral image. The act helps do this by eliminating the wearing of religious symbols by public employees. The separation of church and state is undermined when employees - which often have a high degree of power - overtly associate with a religion. This is especially problematic where there is a tradition of religious animosity. |
