Bill: The Right to Strike

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Party for Equality

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2087

Description[?]:

Just because these people work in important industries doesn't mean that they should have fewer rights than everybody else. The current law will discourage people from joining these professions and create resentment among employees. As a concession to safety and order, however, a minimal service should be provided, so that while the workers can still express their opinions there is no national catastrophe.

MessageI really think that emergency services, paramedics, airline pilots and police and ambulance services are too important to ever be on strike. Black armbands are ok , as well as off-hour protests, but these services are far too critical for any disruption.

MessageBetter to let them strike then have them sabotage something on the job.
