| The AMELIP have decided to take a tougher stance. We feel that the Eastern Likaton People are being oppressed, nay downtrodded. It ends now. We propose the following: That the Luxury Sales tax in Lukaron, Hukatai and Meria be increased to 24%, and that the Luxury Sales tax in Sorbanika and Gokitan be fixed at 14%, giving a wieghted average of 18% nationwide. That Nuclear weapons may not be built, stored or deployed within Gokitan, or Sorbanika. Any military facilities must not have direct links with our deterrent, although our research labs may look at related technoligies for defence purposes only. That gambling is prohibited in Sorbanika and Gokitan, although taxation on casinos will be placed in the national budget. These proposals will begin to redress the drain that Western Likatonia has put upon the East. |
