Bill: All men are equal before the law, and this includes contract law.

Details

Submitted by[?]: Adam Smith Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2088

Description[?]:

At present the government has a discriminatory policy with regard to its employment practice. We do not allow the best person to be employed if they do not meet somew other, irrelevant criteria. This practice is one that sends out all of the wrong messages to our nation. It says:
Our government does not believe that the minority groups are the equals of the majority
Our government does not wish to treat all men as ends in themselves, we prefer to treat some as statistical counters.
Our government is not concerned about employing the best people available, but prefers to play politics with peoples lives.

We find this abhorrent. There is a basic human principle that all men are equal before the law, in all forms of law. Thus we request that this government makes a stand against all discriminatory and derrogatory practices.

MessageIF that is the case this looks extremely likely to pass as ASP, CNT and TiC all voted against that bill.

Do you support this CNT?

Message((This bill has had enough chance at debate... If you and I both support, equitista will oppose and the others could do whatever. They would have to unite in favor of discrimination to defeat it.))

Message"if the proposer can not be bothered to correct the typos in the wording of the bill, we do not see why we should support having typos in our constitution" - ASP

Message(If typos are pointed out I will correct them. When they are pointed out and not corrected. people have room to complain. Typos occur, we all make them, but not correcting them when they are indicated is lazy)
