Bill: IP Essential Services Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Imperialist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2385
Description[?]:
This act removes the right to strike of certain sectors that are essential to the functioning of the nation. While the right to strike is important, some services - the police, doctors, etc. are so vital that to allow them to strike would simply make the nation beholden to them. When they don't come in to work - people die, this is not acceptable. |

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
