MessageWhen parents do not do their jobs properly (and tell me, how does a catholic parent educate his children sexually? - properly, i mean - not just telling them it is a sin?), we could do with some backup plan. Birth control technology evolves - when parents don't evolve with them (and why would/should they?), who's going to explain protection?

MessageWould their be some lind of Opt-Out for those parents who wish to educate their children themselves?
Though we would support the bill anyways.

MessageYes it is called the other bill option which is worded something like 2The decision is left up to schools themselves" that is what the TSP should support, not this...

MessageWhy should the parents decide whether their children should be given this education? It is not the parents being taught but the children.

MessageOh don't give me that! Do you think that parents can't choose some of the things their children are exposed to? It seems that the NMRP wants parents to have ever more and more responsibility, but never any rights concerning their child.

Why should the parents decide whether their children should be given this education?

May I send this question back to you?

Why should the government decide whether their children should be given this education?

Who conceived, raised, nurtured and cared for the child? And now NMRP representatives have the cheek to say "Why should parents decide?". Why should you decide!? What have YOU ever done for these children apart from fire them through an anonomous, dull education system into a country that has some of the worst unemployment in the whole World.... Nice.

MessageThe government wishes to improve the education system of this country thus we ar given the right to introduce things such as this, back into the education system. Moreover I have never said that I wanted parents to have more responsibility, neither have I said that they should have less; that is a fallacy.
