Current: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a reasonable, though not high, standard of living by the government.
Proposed: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government.

Proposal[?] to change The nation's policy on minimum wage regulation.
Old value:: There is no provision for a minimum wage.
Current: There shall be a minimum wage at a level considered a "living wage," well above the poverty line for a full time worker.
Proposed: There shall be a minimum wage at a level that a full time worker on it can support a family of four without falling under the poverty line.

| Message | Economics 101, business owners/managers do not set wage levels, reality does. Since government laws do not magically add money into business coffers, setting a minimum wage will give some a raise but will make others unemployed, and raise prices of goods for everyone including the poor and newly unemployed. So why do you want to raise unemployment and make things artificially more expensive? |
