Message | No to 1 and whats the point of 3 |
Date | 17:25:09, April 14, 2007 CET | From | Gaduri Resistencia | To | Debating the Third Mollusc Manifesto III (Civil Liberties) |
Message | Why no to 1? It's kind of scary if we treat showing yourself to be opposed to the government as a criminal act. As for 3: it just seems pointless for the government to be handing out marriage contracts if anybody can get them. Why can't people just say that they're married without the government getting involved? |
Date | 17:29:22, April 14, 2007 CET | From | People's Liberation Front | To | Debating the Third Mollusc Manifesto III (Civil Liberties) |
Message | Burning of the national flag is not showing opposition to the government but hatred towards the country itself. As for 3 if the government is handing them out then it is easyer too keep track of people marital status for benifit reasons. |

Message | And what's wrong with hating the country? People are allowed to have opinions. Good point over 3: if other parties agree with you, I might remove that one. |

Message | I don't see how that's relevant. It's still a case of: Person dosen't like State. Person shows dislike of State. State punishes Person. I'd rather live in a country where I was allowed to express my opinions symbolically, without being arrested. |
