Bill: Healthy health care.

Details

Submitted by[?]: Adam Smith Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2088

Description[?]:

This is to re-introduce full choice to those in need of health care. Accident and emergency care will be provided at the nation's expense, but cosmetic surgery and preventable sickness etc is the responsibility of the individual.

As STDs and unwanted pregnancies are preventable, these will not be treated at the government expense. This being the case there is no longer a public expense motivation to subsidise contraceptives. If health insurance companies wish to do so, they are free to.
