Message | You have a point. However, I can think of situations in which a child is unable to actually go to school - that is to say, the school building. So I think home schooling should still be permitted, although not encouraged and it should be subject to pretty tight regulations to guarantee the quality of the education. |

Message | In most situations children can, and for handicapped and otherwise special children there are special schools as well. The kid may be a genius in maths and physics, but if he/she did only this through home tutoring, it will lack social skill, which are very important as well. |

Message | Home schooling is superior to public education on many fronts. Do some research... |

Message | What fronts, for instance? |

Message | Home schooling is hands on, it's personal tutoring, it’s better. "In most situations children can " MOST? This proposal will most certainly attack those in rural areas, who have no access to public education. This legislation could even force some to join a private school…if that is all that is available. |

Message | Of course, home schooling can be considered to be a form of private education - which we allow. In light of this, I will not support this bill. I would like to point out, however, that education, be it public, private or "home", should be subject to tight quality standards. |
